Richard Turgeon is a writer, musician, and creative director. His music has been featured on Rodney Bingenheimer and Genya Ravan's shows on SiriusXM radio, and is played on podcasts and FM radio stations around the world. His 2019 single, "Higher," is featured in the end credits of the women-in-sports documentary 'After the Game' (afterthegamemovie.com). Since 2017, Turgeon released four alt-rock solo LPs to widespread critical acclaim and regular international airplay. He records, produces, mixes, and plays the majority of instruments on his records. Turgeon's non-fiction book, 'Indie Rock 101,' was published through Focal Press and has since been translated into Chinese. His novel, 'Please Advise,' is about a musician dealing with his wife's death by starting an anonymous advice board at his local coffee shop. He writes about musicians and the creative process on his blog. His screenplays-including a paranormal feature film--and teleplays for TV's "The Office" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"--have placed in several notable contests.
