A healthy combination of passion and curiosity was always the name of the game. Ever since he was old enough to crawl, Aaron W Small made his intentions in life clear! He often tried to snatch the camera from Dad's hands during those precious family video moments, the child often peering into the lens as if he thought there was something mystical inside... And over the years, something mystical certainly came of Aaron's journey, both professional and spiritual! Aaron wrote, directed and produced his first official video production (literally shot on VHS) at the age of 12, receiving recognition from film festival judges at an independent festival in Baltimore. Attending UNC-Greensboro for film production, Aaron eventually decided to write/produce/direct/edit his first feature film, titled Salvation Underground - and this is how Surreal Visions LLC, Aaron's startup company, came to reality, with the help of his father, Steve Small... Although this cop-drama feature film production was a no-budget and almost no-crew endeavor, it still received recognition at the Las Vegas Film Festival in 2010. The biggest thing is the experience allowed Aaron to learn from his mistakes, giving him full confidence to study for many years under two industry writing professionals, in addition to personal spiritual studies. This gave Aaron the full confidence to develop his next story much more seriously, and with much more patience/persistence... After years of more focus in writing and studies, Aaron finally created an epic story, an entire cinematic universe built upon modern trends and ancient mythology from various global cultures: Shadow Legacy the TV series! Aaron's destiny in life became a story about personal destiny, and the fate of mankind - an irony that will play very well as this grand production continues to develop throughout 2023 and 2024.
