Screenwriter Joshua A. Cohen writes independent feature films under his banner, Cohencidence Productions, LLC. Working as his own VP of Development, he has read or covered thousands of scripts. He has written, co-written, doctored or developed more than 35 features & pilots, plus dozens of shorts, commercials, interviews, webisodes, animations, corporate and music videos. He is an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Quarter-Finalist, and has won numerous 1st Place writing awards. Some actors he's recently written for include Terrence Howard, Cuba Gooding Jr, Tom Berenger, Cam Gigandet, Udo Kier, James Russo, Louis Mandylor, Vinnie Pastore & Sally Kirkland. Joshua has also provided producer &location services to over $50M worth of filmed content, with Billions of online views. Stars of some of his productions include Jamie Kennedy, Eric Roberts, Jeff Fahey, Jesse Metcalf, Danny Trejo, Steven Bauer, Carrottop, Russell Peters, Jhay Cortez, Jay Balvin & Bad Bunny. While co-creating the Nevada Film Tax Credit, he also spun off Large Format Cameras (LFCameras.com) as one of the first cine gear rental co-ops. It now provides Arri Alexa 35 and Alexa Mini LF cameras to indie films. Some of his corporate clients include Sony, Disney, Caesars, Wynn, MGM, Criss Angel, Pepsi, NFL, UFC, Las Vegas Raiders, Rauw Alejandro & Jabbawockeez. Joshua graduated Cum Laude from Brandeis University with a BA in Psychology and Minor in Creative Writing. He works in LA, Las Vegas & around the world, and volunteers for the Cocker Spaniel Recovery Foundation.
