Craig C. DeThomasis

Craig C. DeThomasis is partner at the law firm DeThomasis and Buchanan PA in Gainesville Florida and has been representing individuals accused of crimes since 1983. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Craig and his law partner, Michael R. Buchanan, represented Lisa Gier King , a stripper who claimed to be raped while at a fraternity on the University of Florida campus in 1999. It was this controversial case that led to the documentary "Raw Deal: A Question of Consent" which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival in 2001. This thought provoking and graphic film was produced by Alfred Spellman and directed by Billy Corben.
