Hunter Davis

Hunter Davis is an award winning writer/director/producer from Grapevine, Texas currently living in Sherman Oaks, California. His productions include the critically acclaimed documentary, Where My Heart Beats, which received domestic and foreign distribution and was broadcast on television networks across the world. As a director, Hunter is known for his award winning web series, HELL. A. and the digital web commercial, Life in Your Social Network, staring Tom Sizemore & Gilbert Gottfried. As a writer, Hunter has multiple scripts optioned and in development, including The Drome, under option with studio producer Lucas Foster (Ford vs. Ferrari, Man on Fire, Law Abiding Citizen) and The Monarch Guild (created by Jason Ancona) now under a development deal with Red Entertainment. Hunter has received numerous accolades and placements from top film festivals and screenplay competitions throughout his career. Most recently, Hunter's post apocalyptic script, Black Dust, was the winner of the 2020 CWA Awards in the Action/Adventure category and recently made the Top 20 Best unproduced Action Scripts of All-Time list on Coverfly. Hunter's female driven COVID thriller, Apart, was the winner of the 2020 Nashville Film Festival Screenplay Awards in the Feature Genre category and currently on The Red List. Heavily influenced by the groundbreaking original blockbusters of the 80's and 90's, Hunter specializes in commercially viable features for adult audiences in the Action, Sci-Fi, and Thriller/Horror genres.
