The Koch Family

Art Koch, his wife Kathy, and their two daughters, Kristen and Karan, were billed as The Koch Family when they were interviewed for a 1993 episode of Across Indiana (1988). They appeared as part of a story on the restoration of the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in Indianapolis. Celebrities and ordinary folks alike bought steps to the staircase leading up to the observation deck; each step came with a plaque. The Koch family bought a plaque for their daughter, Colleen T. Koch (1/10/62-8/23/65), who died of cancer. The Koch family are loyal fans of the Indy 500, and in 2008 they attended their 49th race in a row.
