Sofia Alexanian

Sofia Alexanian was born in Sukhumi, Abkhazia to an Armenian mother and a Greek father. In 1995 she was forced to leave her hometown and take refuge in Greece, where she still lives and works. She is a graduate of the Mary Vogiatzis Traga School of Dramatic Art and the Department of Design and Clothing Technology of the TEI of Central Macedonia. Initially she worked in the field of clothing on television and in the theater (2008-2010). In 2011 she completed her senior acting classes at the Moscow Art Theater. She has appeared in many theatrical performances, next to big names, in TV series, such as Malista Chef, Ela Sti Thesi Mou, To Kokkino Potami and in movies. She speaks excellent the Greek and the Russian language. She is also a writer, her first book is an autobiography and called "I Zoi Avrio, I Zoi Xtes".
