Jon Filipko

Jon Filipko is a South Lake Tahoe native. He has lived and performed in Los Angeles since 2007. Jon got his start working in low budget independent films and had a breakout performance in the LGBTQ short 'Outpost' in 2009. Jon has since studied improv throughout LA. You can catch him currently (2019) every Friday when he performs with the main stage players at the Improv Space in Westwood. Jon has studied the gambit including, audition technique, clowning, improv and scene study. He currently owns and operates his own youtube channel called Filipko Video where he writes, stars in and directs off-beat sketch comedy videos. Jon's televised work has been mainly dramatic, however in recent years he has delved deep into underground comedy scene in LA and hopes to be scene working on more comedy television shows and films in the near future.
