Dheeraj Kher

Dheeraj Kher is an Indian film producer known for Kokki, Karuppusamy Kuththagaitharar, Malayan and Nedunchaalai. He is also an actor known for Laadam, Malayan, and Nedunchaalai. Sleeper cells and Pathu Thala are his upcoming movies and are scheduled to be released in early 2022. Dheeraj Kher was born in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). His association with Tamil movies started in 1996 when he entered the field of distribution for Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. During this period he has distributed numerous including famous films like Nesam, Abhimanyu, Eazhayin Sirippil, Parattai Engira Alagu Sundharam. Dheeraj eventually ventured into the production of Tamil movies in the year 2005. He produced his first film Kokki under the "Friend Cinemas" banner. The film turned out to be well appreciated and a critically acclaimed movie. His second film Karuppusamy Kuththagaitharar turned out to be a tremendous success. Later he went on to produce films like Malayan and Nedunchaalai.. He is also the executive producer of the film Mynaa Dheeraj's stint with acting began with the film Laadam (2008) He played an antagonist.
