Casting directors create dreams that no one can't even imagine dreaming and Rohan Mapuskar is one of them who contributes his work to the entertainment industry by casting characters for films, web series. Rohan Mapuskar always aspired to be a casting director. His career journey started with Rajkumar Hirani's movie 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' and '3 idiots' as an Assistant Director. He has cast for several movies, web series like '3 Idiots', 'Ferrari Ki Sawari', 'Sachin- A Billion Dreams', 'Ventilator', 'Breathe (TV Series) (8 episodes)', 'Thackeray', 'Kaale Dhande (TV Series) (8 episodes)', 'Panipat', 'Mumbai Saga', 'Bardo', 'Hirkani', 'June', 'Ek Thi Begum 2' (TV Series) (12 episodes), 'Indori Ishq' (TV Series) (9 episodes), 'Kakuda', coming Marathi film 'Raavsaaheb' and many more. He has also been cast for an ad film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Worked as Assistant Director, Associate Director, and Casting director in the industry and worked on over 150 ads. He also has produced a play 'Kanupriya' based on a book written by Dharamveer Bharti and directed by Mitali Joshi. Recently, he has worked as creative producer for the upcoming Hindi film 'Simulacra'. Rohan has worked with legend directors like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Rajesh Mapuskar, Ashutosh Gowariker, Paresh Mokashi, Sanjay Gupta, Tanuja Chandra, Ruchika Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Vijay Maurya, Aditya Sarpodar, Nikhil Mahajan, and James Erikson. As Direction has always been his passion, He's worked as an associate director for 'Ventilator' with the National Award Winner Director Mr. Rajesh Mapuskar. Soon, he will be fulfilling his dream of directing films and marking his new identity as a Director. Proudly it can be said that he is the first Marathi Casting Director who started casting characters for projects! Rohan owned Casting Company named "Rohan Mapuskar Casting" which has given numerous talents and new faces to Marathi as well as Hindi film Industry.
