Truly was born and raised in Marietta, GA to Tommie and David Magyar. Her father was a commercial pilot for Eastern Airlines. Truly did figure skating, ballet, jazz and stage acting since age three. When she was fourteen, Truly and her mom moved to California where she started high school and continued performing ballet/ other forms of dance and performing in musicals and straight plays. She attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA, and received her B/A in English and Theatre. While at Pepperdine, she founded the annual dance showcase, "Dance In Flight" along with two fellow students (Michelle Berti & Marla Cutrer) and Dance Adjunct Teacher/ Choreographer Carolyn Dyer. After graduating college, Truly continued her acting career doing independent films, commercials, stage and television, as well as an eleven year partnership with magician Gary Laramore, as his assistant and creative partner for his show, "Illusions of Grandeur." Truly co-owns a small film ranch north of Los Angeles with Zander Villayne. The two also flip houses together and produce their own (mostly comedic) film projects.
