Born in 1914, Jean Perdrix first and foremost a short film maker and producer. After working for Sirius Films between 1937 and 1942, he founded his own production company. Before that, Jean Perdrix had been a production designer and assistant director to several directors including Léo Joannon and Jean Dréville. He later ran L.T.C.'s subtitling department., was a member of the C.S.T. steering committee and of the administrative board of the home for elderly movie artists and technicians. He died prematurely at the age of 57.
