Chris Swensen

Growing up with limited vision, Chris never wanted to be defined as "that visually impaired girl." She just wanted to be known as a girl...who, just happens not to see perfectly. This mindset has followed her, her whole life. Her lack of vision has never stopped her from obtaining any goal she has set for herself. As an actor, she has played all sorts of roles including a pregnant women who will do anything to survive in "The Coming" and a beyond quirky witness in "Pantheon Woods". Chris discovered improv when she decided to face her fear and take a workshop. This led to training at the Annoyance Theatre, iO, and Second City. Needless to say, Chris fell in love with improv, and has performed at all three theaters. Originally from New York, Chris is an adventurer at heart. She has zip lined over Niagara Falls and has splashed around in Class 4 Rapids in Alaska. She went horseback riding on Mt. McKinley and crossed the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver. She has traveled through parts of Europe on her own. Chris is always looking for the next adventure. Hang gliding and riding in a hot air balloon are on her to do list. Chris is also looking forward to driving a car on screen someday since she can't do it off.
