Founder and CEO of Production Company of the Year as voted for by Edinburgh TV Festival 2019. Max is an award winning creative with a background in unscripted, factual entertainment and documentary programming. He is Broadcast Magazine's youngest Hotshot Awards Winner to date recognized as a true innovator and leading example of a new generation of content creators that are not only changing the way TV is made today, but laying the foundations for a shift in how content will be made in the years to come. Max founded Renowned Films in 2012 to disrupt traditional media and create innovative, attention grabbing, engaging and thought provoking factual entertainment, documentaries and features, all with a fresh perspective, supporting new talent, and with a thought provoking tone of voice. In 2015 Channel 4 partnered with Renowned Films, acquiring a minority stake in the business. In 2017 Critical Content acquired an undisclosed stake in Renowned with Channel 4 exiting the business.
