Dee Derusha attended Wylie E. Groves High School in Michigan, and graduated in 2005. She also attended the DAFT Student Animation Workshop that year, and won several awards for her collaborative short stop-motion animation, 'Nubsy.' Dee then went on to pursue a degree in film at Wayne State University, completing a year before moving on to graduate from the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan in 2007. Since then, Dee has made numerous short films, music videos, and animations, and has worked as an actor in student and independent films around the Metro-Detroit area, as well as a radio voice actor. In 2017, she launched a YouTube series, "On the Go," which features discussions with passengers while driving around the city. After taking a short break, she began working on season two in 2018, after graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design with a BA in Graphic Design. She now works as design support, while pursuing animation, comedy, and illustration as hobbies.
