Alexandre Montenegro

Alexandre Montenegro is a producer and director, known for O Grande Irã (1994), Loucuras de Verão (1991) and Dr. Cobaia e Luvinha (1995). As an accomplished Director in all markets he has ventured in, the Lisbon-based Alexandre Montenegro, who started his career as a puppet manipulator back in São Paulo, Brazil, at the age of thirteen, has founded Mola Filmes (1996) as well as Show Off Films (2000), both production companies of which he is the Executive Producer of. Alexandre Montenegro, as a film director, divides his talents between creative-oriented projects - such as his most recent endeavor "Politicamente Correto", a show that skillfully dabbles both in comedy and political satire - and wrapping up advertising films expertly, having won several prizes throughout the years - namely a Cannes Lion (2001) and at the Eurobest awards.
