Andres Vergara

Andres has performed crucial roles inside the world of Post-Production, from Film Editing for Feature films and Documentaries, to Visual Effects Compositing for Hollywood blockbusters. He has been a part of Post Production teams of Award winning films - working directly with recognized filmmakers and Directors such as Debra Granik (Academy Award Nominated for "Winter's Bone"), in the latest Verité Documentary "Stray Dog", Winner of the Best Documentary Award at The Los Angeles Film Festival and Nominated for the prestigious Independent Spirit Awards for Best Documentary Film. Andres has also been part of relevant International projects as an Editor, where he was invited to work for Spirit Digital Media UK for an ambitious Documentary production with The City of London that promoted the developed Tech scene of Britain's capital, to the most important Tech companies in the world, having a Screening Debut at the UK's Prime Minister Office, 10 Downing Street in Downtown London. As an Editor, he has been involved with a diverse range of High quality projects in the Industry, from Artistic and Cultural Documentaries of Long and Short form, to Conventional Narrative Structured Featured Films, Commercials of different formats, Music Videos and New-Media. In addition to his Editorial experience, Andres has worked in major Hollywood productions as a Visual Effects Compositor for Films such as "Safe House" (Denzel Washington), "Immortals" (Micky Rourke), "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt.1" and "Battleship" (Liam Neeson). With his work, he has collaborated in significant ways to achieve the creative vision of renowned Film Directors such as Neill Blomkamp, Tarsem Singh and Academy Award Winning Visual Effects Supervisor Nicholas Brooks, to name a few.
