Born in Cagliari in 1976. He's a italian director. After he graduated in directing and screenwriting at Accademia Internazionale dell'Immagine in L'Aquila, he moved to Rome where he started by directing few shorts movies among which "Provided it's buried" (2006), which garnered several awards in the international film festival circuit. In 2009 he presented his medium-length film "I know there's a man" at the 66th Venice Film Festival; a work of great expressive and stylistic maturity that strongly confirms him as one of the most interesting new Italian directors. His first feature film "Leaving no trace" (2016), starring Michele Riondino and Valentina Cervi, was well received by the public and critics.
