Israel Ahumada

Israel Ahumada (Mexico City, 1984). Bachelor of Communication Sciences by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), enters in 2009 at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his short film "Fausto en la oscuridad" (2017). In 2014 his project "Perdona nuestras ofensas" (2013) was nominated to a Silver Goddess Award as Best Short Fiction Film in addition to having participated in over 30 festivals and international exhibitions. His documentary project "Dejar la piel" (2017) received the Doculatente Award at the 6º Documentary Lab DOCULAB - IFF Guadalajara. This recognition consisted in their presence with the project at IDFA Academy on the 27th IDFA.
