Tiago Correia

Actor, Theatre Director, Playwright and Singer-Songwriter. Graduated in Theatre - Acting and Post-graduated in Dramaturgy and Scriptwriting, in ESMAE, Oporto, Portugal. Co-founded the theatre company A Turma in 2008. In theatre, he has worked with António Durães, Cristina Carvalhal, Nuno M Cardoso, Maria João Luís, Pascal Luneau, Marcos Barbosa, Manuel Tur, Luís Mestre, José Carretas, Sara Barbosa, and more. In cinema, he starred in works by Edgar Pêra, Francisco Lobo, among others. In television he starred in Mulheres de Abril (RTP) and Regresso a Ítaca, along with commercials and voice over for movies and documentaries. Since 2011, he has directed plays by Jean-Luc Lagarce, Peter Handke, Jon Fosse, among others. Since 2016, he has been writing and directing his own plays. They have been presented in some of the most important festivals and theaters of Portugal. These plays are published in Portugal, Mexico and Germany. He has written scripts for cinema and television. He is a singer and songwriter for Les Saint Armand.
