Heather Elyse was born in Santa Barbara, California on March 4, 1981. Heather is the niece of the late Ross Elliott who is best known for his work with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Ross Elliott was nominated for six daytime Emmy's and one Prime time Emmy for his technical work. Heather first entered the production industry alongside her twin brother Jordan when they modeled for the Department store Dillard's. Heather is best known for her controversial views on adoption. By the age of twenty-six, Heather was completing her seventh adoption. Heather is the founder of several non-profits that advocate strongly for affordable and ethical adoptions. In 2012-2013, Heather helped seventy-one children get legally adopted from the country of Haiti. Heather and her children founded a rescue home in Haiti that houses vulnerable children that are in the adoption process. Heather is the author of Table For Nine. On January 2, 2008, Heather was named one of The Hot 100 "Most Influential People in our City" according to Urban Tulsa Weekly. She was awarded OKDHS Adoptive Family of the Year Area VI in 2008.
