Alex Burkart was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin, where he got involved in acting when he was 8 years old. After graduating with his BFA in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts, he relocated to Los Angeles, California. His past work consists of numerous stage credits including: Landolf in the American regional premier of Tom Stoppard's "Pirandello's Henry IV" at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, George Gibbs in "Our Town," Eugene Morris Jerome in Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical trilogy, and a reading of Edward Albee's "Me, Myself, and I" at Playwrights Horizons in New York City where he got to work directly with the great American playwright himself. He has a twin brother named Nathan Lee Burkart who is also an actor.
