Kim's father was his strongest influence in acting whilst he was growing up. At the age of 9 he moved to Berlin, It was here that he had the opportunity to first observe the world of theatre. His farther was staring in a successful musical called Shakespeare and Rock and Roll. Kim was inspired by street performers in Berlin and developed a robotic mime act which he performed regularly in the theatre his father was appearing in. On his return to the UK he appeared in the West End production of "Les Miserables" and performed twice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama (BA in Acting). Kim has also earned a reputation as a keen photographer and has had recognition for his travel and theatrical photography. He is working alongside an emerging theatrical company called The Salon:collective, that performs regularly at the Cockpit Theatre in London.
