Jon Rivero

Jon Rivero is a writer, director and producer of many shortfilms between 2006 to present. He was born in Torrelavega, a northern Spain city located in Cantabria. He gave his first steps in Photography and camera departments. He has worked as a camera operator, editor and photographer for many works. In 2007 he completed a bachelor of arts and a degree in Stage Management. In 2009 the director completed his undergraduate studies in image in Málaga. Jon has made over 8 shortfilms as a writer, director and producer. This Spanish filmmaker has been involved in more than 58 shortfilms, clips, commercials and 2 movies and has won several awards at various festivals with some of his shortfilms like 'La atmosfera de la Luna' and 'Caballos feroces'. Jon Rivero has also written plays ('Pasajes', 'Ciudadanos Espejo', 'Izaskun, las luces y Mirna', 'Caña de pescar enchufable en Portovenere') and has worked in several stage productions.
