Brookshire attended North Carolina Wesleyan College where he studied Business Law, Communications and Performing Arts. As time moved forward in his entertainment career, he was able to interview, work with and befriend actors/actresses, bestselling authors, movie producers and moguls such as actors Jussie Smollett & Queen Latifah, movie producers Michel Shane & Dan Garcia, film and television directors Darren Grant and Billie Woodruff, casting directors Leah Daniels-Butler & Winsome Sinclair, film and Tv executives Ri-Karlo Hardy & New York Times bestselling author Devon Franklin and restaurateur, producer and reality TV star Tim Norman. After working with so many creative people in the industry Brookshire was inspired to also work behind the scenes developing and producing movies, television, new media, LIVE events and Off-Broadway stage productions. In 2011 Brookshire partnered with television host and producer Melissa Menounos with After-Buzz TV to develop and produce several top-rated new media shows that ranked number one on iTunes for the network. In 2012 Brookshire also created and produced two educational and entertainment LIVE radio talk shows on L.A. Live Talk international radio stations in Los Angeles. In 2014 Brookshire started developing the feature film adaptation based on the best-selling memoir inspired by a true story written by New York Times best-selling author Dr. LaJoyce of (Soul Food, Web of Deceptions & Ask the Good Doctor) which sold over 250 thousand copies. Faith Under Fire on Stage also executive produced and produced by Brookshire, debut on off Broadway in August 2016 to a sold-out audience in New York City at the Historical National Black Theater in Harlem. Brookshire has in development several of the New York Times Bestselling Authors collective namely, The Last Listening Party of the Notorious B.I.G., Web of Deception, The Press, Record High, You Better Know When to Leave the Party-Tails of an Entertainment Publicists, The Ritual, Married & Separated and the Ask the Good Doctor bestselling book series. Brookshire partnered with Tim Norman restaurateur and reality TV star of "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" on OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) as Director of Operations located at the famous Gower Studios in Hollywood CA. In 2017 Brookshire created and produced the "Actors Audition Clinic and Competition" at the 14th Annual Hollywood Black Film Festival in Marina Del Rey California. He also created and produced "The Hollywood SceneWorks Clinic and Competition" at the 19th Annual African American Women in Cinema Film Festival in New York City both with an esteemed judges panel of film, television, and stage executives, legendary casting directors, directors, producers and award-winning talent. Brookshire is the Executive Producing of a Documentary film entitled "Caught up Homeless" with the Hope4Tenants foundation.
