Kregg Barentine (a.k.a. - Ripchord), is a professional composer and producer/DJ and leader of the group, The Swingtips. Kregg's began his career in the early 1990's touring with The Glenn Miller Orchestra and after returning formed the band, The Swingtips, who became a featured act at Disney World in the late 1990's. In the Fall of 2008, actor and rapper, Ludacris, signed Kregg to a record deal for the song he co-wrote and produced, "Luv Of Da Game", which became an integral part of Anaheim Angel's games. During that same year, MTV paid a visit to Kregg's commercial recording facility, Ghost Note Studios, to film him DJ'ing/producing and recording for an episode of the hit show, MTV Made, which aired that year. As a composer, Kregg has produced and written for film/television for Marvel's Agents Of Shield, 2014 Lovesick (starring Matt LeBlanc, Ali Larter and Chevy Chase), Gwyneth Paltrow & Mario Batali's - Spain: On The Road Again, FX's - The Shield, WB's - Roswell & Felicity, Queen Latifah's - A Perfect Holiday, MTV, HBO, CMT, BET, ESPN, ABC's All My Children, Fox Sports, and on numerous CD compilations such as: Next Generation Swing I & II (Beast Records), A Harry & David Holiday (Universal), Black Coffee Blues (Inlytes), A Yuletide Dance, Diamond Cuts II, and Did Somebody Say Swing, to name a few.
