Kyrt Gates

Kyrt grew up in Baton Rouge Louisiana, and moved to New Orleans Louisiana at the age of 26. Focusing mostly on his music career playing in the Indie rock band "Ghost and The Babygrand" (2002) doing shows and recording records. The band Gained a little attention, but not enough to survive. The next step was a solo record in (2004) under his own name titled "Plastic Songs For Dead Flowers" Dark melodic acoustic music joined with a touch of piano. On Febuary 18th (2006) Kyrt married his longtime girlfriend "Tracye Hayden" and laid low for 3 years. In 2008, he and Tracye got a divorce and in the same year landed a small part in "12 Rounds" with John Cena then begun an acting career. Playing mostly villains and drug dealers in the following years to come in such films as "The Mortician" and "Blood Out." As of 2010, Kyrt is in a new band called "Love Her Killer" An Indie Newwave/Darkwave early 80's sound. The band consists of two members Kyrt Gates and Sean Keating (Deadboy and the Elephantmen) and also has two other members when playing live. The band are currently working on there debut EP "Dirty Pictures" that will be released in early 2011. Kyrt is still very much involved in Acting and is working on indie film based on an Edgar Allen Poe Story.
