J. Lee Williams

J. Lee is an award-winning director who has had many alter egos over his years in production: Illustrator, Animator, VFX Supervisor, Commercial + Film Director. Founder of Immersive/Interactive Experience company, Occupied VR. J.Lee is also the Founder and Director of 1188 Films, one of Canada's Top Commercial Production companies marrying, film, visual effects, animation and design into compelling multi-platform experiences. He directed the award-winning Cut-Off VR, a VICE Media and OCCUPIED co-production that profiles Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as he visits Northern indigenous communities. Although a young company, Occupied has already developed Immersive Experiences for such brands as: Fifa, Facebook, Nike, Intel, NASA, Sony, NBCUniversal Media, Samsung, RSA, and VICE.
