Robert P. Young is a graduate of Harvard's Visual and Environmental Studies Film Program, and attended California Institute of the Arts. At Harvard, he directed, shot and edited 16 mm film and digital video projects, producing several short documentaries and narratives. The film COOKING TO LIVE, Young's senior thesis, screened at Port Huron, Michigan's 2010 Blue Water Film Festival. Young's political satire REAGAN RETURNS was screened at Somerville, Massachusetts's 2011 The Reel Festival 3, and he was a co-star in director Wilbert Berthaud's Indie Spirit Award-winning feature film UNDERGROUND--which enjoyed limited theatrical release in New Bedford, Massachusetts and is now available on DVD. He was honored by the United States Department of State for advising delegates of the Indonesian Film Industry, on how to be more competitive in the global market. More recently he was a benefactor and master class student of acclaimed director Spike Lee.
