The Shamen was a Scottish electronic dance music band, formed in 1986 in Aberdeen. The band had one of their first hit singles in 1990 with "Move Any Mountain (Progen '91)". They released eight studio albums, the biggest success came with "Boss Drum" in 1992 and the single "Ebeneezer Goode". The Shamen disbanded in 1999.
