William Green is a filmmaker living in Orange County, CA with his wife, Taylor, and daughter, Lucy. Born and raised in Southern California, William learned to love and appreciate film from a young age thanks to his exposure to classics such as "Singin' In the Rain" and "The Godfather". However, it was watching Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park", and the "making of" documentary, that captured his imagination as a kid, and first introduced him to the magic that goes on behind the camera. William attended the California State University, Fullerton, earning his Bachelor's degree in Film Production, after which he worked on several independent short film projects, many with his good friend, LA based cinematographer, Chris Warren. William wrote and directed the short film "End of Forever", directed the 48 Hour Film Project film "Tell" and co-produced the short film "Don't Worry About It" with friend and director Chris Frint. In 2014, William started a new job as a flight attendant, bringing him and his family to Seattle. This wonderful opportunity in the Pacific Northwest helped him expand his horizons, traveling and meeting new people. In 2017, William and his production company, Green Cape Productions, led a team in the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project, directing and producing the film "Riddance". William has gone on to direct and produce a series of short documentary videos for Jetlagged Comic, created by Kelly Kincaid. He directed another 48 Hour film titled "Missing Piece", and co-wrote and directed the comical short film "Try Again", currently being submitted to the festival circuit. In early 2020, William and his family moved back to Southern California, where he continues to write and direct. His dream is to direct a major feature film for a studio.
