Alison Walter was born and raised on Roosevelt Island in New York City. She began studying dance and acting when she was eight years old at the community "Main Street Theatre" across the street from her apartment building. The next year her first theatrical performance was the role of Woodstock in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." It was during those evenings of dance and song that Alison decided she wanted to perform professionally. Following that dream, she auditioned for the Drama Program at LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in Lincoln Center. She was accepted, and four years later received a Degree in Drama and the Marjorie Theatrical Award. Seeking a world outside the city she grew up in, she auditioned for and was accepted into Ithaca College, in upstate New York. There she studied Theatre, Dance, and Sociology, and received her BFA in Acting. Since graduating, Alison has worked with fellow Ithaca College Alumni Nicholas Santos and Kyle I. Kelley on two projects: "Worlds We Created," "Things I Don't Remember." "Worlds We Created," which Alison produced and acted in, has been officially selected by 26 film festivals, and won three awards. Alison portrayed the lead female role of Alison in the 'seat of your pants' production of "Trainspotting" at The Elephant Theatre in Hollywood. She revived her Scottish accent for the role of Catherine in David Mamet's "Boston Marriage" with Ophelia's Jump Productions. She is currently associate producing and acting in her first feature film titled, "No Way to Live."
