Kashif Alvi was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He has produced, written, and directed numerous films - The 51% (2022), Birds without Wings (2020), Loi 2004-228 (2020), nakulong (2020), Beau Geste (2019) - that have screened at festivals around the world. He has an MFA in Film Directing from Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University and a BFA in Film Studies and BCom in Information Technology Management from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
