M.B. Padmakumar

M.B.Padmakumar is an Indian filmmaker, Screen writer and an actor, born in Thiruvalla,Kerala,India in a middle class family. His father was an Army man and Mother was a housewife. After Civil Engineering he started his career as a building consultant. But he wanted to be a filmmaker. In search of learning film making, some of the finest directors offered him good roles,and decided to accept the offers and became an actor. But the passion for film making was always remained with him. He has made several television programs and documentaries. and he worked with several important TV channels. Films gave him the opportunity to closely associate with renowned Film Makers like Mr. Lohitadas , Mr. Shaji N Karun and Mr. Jayaraj. Movies Have always been a passion and a dream for him. My Life Partner is his debut feature film. Won four Kerala State Award. Second Directorial venture 'Roopantharam' nominated for National Film Award 2015.
