Amanda Leigh Owen

Amanda Leigh Owen is a British Actor, best known for playing Joanne Parker in Emmerdale (ITV). Others include, British film 'Hiraeth' as character Christa, directed by the award winning Ryan Andrews (known for film Elfie Hopkins) and written by the critically acclaimed and published Writer Stephen Laughton and the film Halas and Batchelor (Sky Arts) directed by Richard Shaw. She has played numerous roles in Theatre, most notably as the lead role Hedda Gabler. Amanda professionally trained for three years at The Birmingham School of Acting, now known as The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, after which she moved to London.
