Chane Singletary

Chane Singletary was born in Taichung, Taiwan on a military base to Bi-tau Singletary, a lab technician and Alvin Singletary, a military officer (U.S. Air Force). At the age of 5, he moved to Washington DC. He started theatre in high school - at first, more as a favor to a friend in drama who was in need of a male actor. She encouraged him to try out and soon, it became a remarkable new experience. Because he was constantly moving from place to place at a young age, he quickly became fascinated with the new people he would meet while also seeking ways to fit in. His parents wanted him to complete a formal education and obtain a "real" job so he enrolled at the University of Maryland with a degree in Computer Management. After graduating in 2001, he moved with his family to Las Vegas. It was there that he decided to fully commit to pursuing his true passion, so for 3 years he worked 2 full time jobs in order to save enough money to move. Since arriving in Los Angeles, he has had roles in 3 independent short films, Mind Games ("James"), Executive Design ("Police Officer Andrews"), and Heat Wave ("Carlo"). Discovering a knack for comedy, Chane hopes someday he can have his own sitcom role.
