Matthew Nette

Matthew was born in the tiny village of Mayo on the Stewart River in the Yukon Territory of Canada, on the land of the Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation. He was raised in the Yukon, Alberta and Saskatchewan before moving closer to his family's roots in Nova Scotia at the age of 17. After graduating from the Acting program at Dalhousie University he moved to Toronto to pursue film and television work. On screen, Matthew has more often played a villain than a hero. He now splits his time between Halifax and Toronto, and is considered a full-time hero in real life by his two daughters. He is always looking for chances to act and to make art with friends.
