Pauls Dombrovskis

Pauls Dombrovkis officially is born in Latvia, USSR. And spent his childhood during the change of the regime and Latvia restoring its second independence from the Soviet occupation. When the iron curtain fell Pauls has lived in many countries, first with his family in Germany, later the USA, New Zealand and Australia by himself. Paul immigrated to Vancouver, Canada in 2010 to pursue his career as a filmmaker. He went on to study Film Production at Vancouver Film School and won a full scholarship with his short film entitled Bring It. His thesis film In Search Of has played in multiple festivals, but his first documentary form project Dear Don premiered in Hot Docs and was nominated for Latvian Film Awards Lielais Kristaps.
