Yam Gabriel Gonzalez migrated to the states at the age of 11. He attended the South Miami Senior High Commercial Art Magnet Program from 1996 to 2000. In 2007 graduated from The School of Entertainment and Design Technology with a degree in Film Production Technology. He worked as an Avid/Final Cut Pro editor for Cubana de Television on the show Casino de la Alegria, then worked as a Production Assistant for Telemundo on the spanish soap opera Pecados Ajenos. In 2010 he finished the production of his first feature-length film High School Gig, which he wrote/directed/produced.
