Tristan Shepherd

Tristan is an award-winning writer/director based in south east London. He co-founded Take Cover Films in 2012, who create narrative films from conception to release. Tristan's directorial debut, The Outside In, premiered at Palm Springs International Shortfest where is received a Best in Fest selection and went on to win Best Narrative Short at Las Vegas Lift Off Festival. His second film, Among Sweet Flowers and Shades, won Best Narrative Short at the Lift Off Season Awards. In 2022, Tristan's zombie horror film, Viral, won Best Short Film and The Audience Award at Nevermore Horror Film Festival, where lead also went on to win Best Actress . Most recently, his northern drama, Robin, won Best Yorkshire Short Film at Leeds International Film Festival. Tristan has 3 feature films in development: A Rush of Blood, Robin and Purgatory.
