Multi-Talented Artist and Newark, New Jersey native, HB Gibson (Harold B. Gibson) was aspired to perform since the age of 10, when he recreated a talk show set in his bedroom using a desk, a mirror and a hairbrush as a microphone. He studied Television Production at Essex County College and Drama at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts in Bloomfield, NJ. Seeking the desire of being in front of the camera and not just behind it, HB ventured to fulfill his dream. He successfully landed his first dual role in the stage play "They Sing Christmas Up in Harlem" at the Legendary Newark Symphony Hall Black Box Theater, with a theater group called The Phoenix Ensemble during the holiday season of 2006. Since then, HB appeared in over 10 plays including an Off-Broadway production of "A Soldier's Play" where he performed as the Blues guitar playing soldier, C.J. Memphis. Coincidentally, he taught himself to play Blues guitar for this role. He also performed on tour in the inspirational stage play "Tell Hell I Ain't Coming" along side with well renowned R&B artist, Christopher Williams. HB accomplished numerous acting roles, including but not limited to Nathan Zen Sapien's, The Yard as Toth; Joseph Eulo's In Broad Daylight as Agent Howard Grant and Omar Spruell's, The Black Crown as Skully. From 2013 - 2019, he starred in a Sci-Fi award winning web series as Agent Darius in Alex Fernandez's Body Jumpers and Body Jumpers Resurrection. Recognizing the need for action with this series, he choreographed numerous fight scenes and executed his own stunts. He is an avid cosplayer, appearing at events and conventions. He was featured in the Independent Creator's Connection (ICC) magazine as New Jersey's legend in cosplay. Also noted in Cosplayzine Magazine appearing as Richard B. Riddick from the Pitch Black and Riddick films and a YouTuber creating two entertainment talk shows, The HB Gibson show and The X Xone. He also has an audio podcast called the HB Gibson Podcast focusing on movies and television. HB expanded his talents into voice-over and can be heard on the animated pilot episode of Dishes as the character of Walter Witherspoon and the trailer of the comic, Book of Lyaxia, as the character of Deimos Lyaxia. HB also can be heard in the introduction to the Podcast, The Shamar Williams Show among other projects.
