Roger started his training with the Famed Viola Spolin, who is the internationally recognized originator of Theater Games - the basis of Improvisational Theater. Along with her son, Paul Sills, Viola Spolin created the techniques utilized by the cast of Chicago's Second City as well as every other Improvisational Comedy Group. He has been in many different Comedy Improv Groups and has performed on The Second City Stage often here in LA. Roger has been teaching Improvisational Comedy for over 40 years. These skills help him when he became a Session Director for Divisek Casting for over 25 years as well as other top name Casting Offices. He has also taught both Commercial Workshops and Acting/Cold Reading workshops and has trained many actors who have gone on to great careers. He also worked with many well known Casting Directors and TV and Film Directors such as the Coen Brothers, Ridely Scott...etc as a Session Director. Roger still is teaching acting and still enjoys acting. His other love is singing and writing Blues music and has an awesome band called The Blues Zone Band. Their CD "Hot To Trot" did very well both here in the USA and aboard. Other then that he enjoys guiding actors in their careers while working for a top Management Company here in LA. Always ready to help out their talent in preparing for their auditions. The rest of his time is spent with his awesome family.
