Rachel Dupard is an American actress, singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX and is the daughter of Reggie Dupard (Former NFL New England Patriots & Washington Redskins Running Back), and LaChanda Dupard, a Executive Director for a nonprofit charity organization. Her ancestry is Creole African American both her mother and father are French Creoles of Louisiana. Dupard found her talent at an early age of six while in speech therapy after surgery that resulted in near death due to a hearing dysfunction. Rachel began singing in her church choir and Rachel's mother established her with an agent, Landrum Talent Agency before she was 12. Dupard was cast in newspaper advertisements and two movies and began singing around the Dallas area. At this time, she also began private acting lessons and classical voice lessons. In 2011, Rachel opened for the Youth Empowerment session as Essence Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. She made her first credited debut album "Child of the King" at the age of 12. She earned starring roles in summer musicals at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Billie Holiday, Dream Girls and Lauryn Hill for Sister Act. Dupard auditioned and was accepted in the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX, where she took part in music ensembles and drama features. After graduation Dupard moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to attend Santa Fe University of Art & Design, where she studied contemporary music. While at Santa Fe University of Art & Design, Dupard was cast in a promo video for the school called, "I Found My Voice." In 2017, Dupard graduated and continues acting classes, teaches elementary and middle school students, performs with her band and released her second album "Drawn Out" at the age of 22. In 2016, Dupard was cast in the "Super Bowl Babies" commercial for the NFL Super Bowl 50 anniversary and she continues to pursue her career in the entertainment industry.
