Iair Said

Argentine actor, director, screenwriter and casting director. He began his artistic career at the early age of nineteen as a scriptwriter in the crew of Casi Ángeles. In 2011, he made his acting debut with a leading role in Soy tan feliz, a short film by Vladimir Durán that opened the doors to international festivals, allowing him to attend the Cannes Film Festival. A year later, he directed and starred in his first short film, 9 vacunas, which won the Best Short Film Award at BAFICI. He continued his career with participations both as an actor and screenwriter. In the field of directing, in 2015 he competed for the Palme d'Or with his short film Presente Imperfecto, and in 2018 he released his first feature film, Flora no es un canto a la vida. In addition, he has worked as a casting director at Milgracias Casting and independently as a complement to directing his projects.
