Elena Wang, raised in Australia, was discovered in her graduation year at Lasalle, Singapore and made her theatrical debut as Ivy in Beauty World. She was then awarded ELLE magazine's 'Breakout Star of the Year'. Other roles include Snow White in Snow White and Azira in Sleepless Town, after having taken over from US pop singer Debbie Gibson. After an extensive career in Singapore as a triple threat, she made her debut in London performing in West End's The King and I, staged at the Royal Albert Hall starring Maria Friedman and Daniel Dae Kim. She then relocated to the US and has worked with such artists as Taylor Swift, Shaquille O' Neal, Todrick Hall and was discovered in an open call for the Broadway production of Allegiance starring George Takei. She was chosen after a national search to understudy Lea Salonga for the role of Kei Kimura. Recently, Elena has starred as Xirui in the first industry reading of Tiananmen among other Broadway performers and originated the role of 'Sophia' in the successful Off Broadway run of Bastard Jones.
