Amir Ohebsion

Amir O. is an award-winning writer/producer based in LA. His first feature screenplay, "The Apology," won the Grand Prize at Slamdance, and multiple others have placed in the Nicholl Fellowships. Amir wrote and produced the feature "Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero" which won the Comedy Vanguard Jury Award and the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival and aired on Showtime. Subsequently, he sold an adult animation series based on the above to Gaumont. In addition to screenwriting, Amir has written and produced several theatrical plays all of which premiered at the prestigious 1200-seater, Wilshire Ebell Theater. Currently (as of October 2022), Amir is producing his new screenplay, "Ctrl Alt Del" (in pre-production), and his supernatural thriller, "Deathday," which won the Grand Prize at the 2022 Emerging Screenwriter's Suspense Competition
