Aaron Cassara is a Brooklyn-based, Chicago-born filmmaker and photographer. He's worked in television, documentary, music video, and narrative, including the feature King Kelly, produced by SeeThink Films. He recently finished a short fiction film called Barista, about how the costs of health care and education affect young people. He's also working on a doc about a Midtown Manhattan shoe repairman, which intimately explores a classic mom and pop shop surviving in an ever changing metropolis. Aaron's work explores class dynamics, focusing on the working and middle class. He graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Film & Video.
