Sarah Nicole Perino is the first-born daughter of Joseph and Terri Perino. She grew up next to a chicken farm in Gilroy, California, the land of garlic festivals. She has a younger sister, Emily Perino, an up and coming singer/songwriter. Sarah is no stranger to the stage. She began acting and dancing at the age 8, beginning her love for the performing arts. Sarah moved to Southern California to attend Azusa Pacific University. There she majored in Theater Arts, choosing passion over financial security. While at APU, she performed in several musicals including "Thoroughly Modern Millie", "Evita", and "Parade: A Musical", where her dancing and singing talents were showcased. Sarah starred in several student films, prior to her major debut as Christina Stone in "Raise Your Dead," a senior thesis film in which Sarah showed her commitment to her role, allowing use of personal home video. A few months after graduating from college early and with honors, Sarah landed one of four spots on the Revolve Tour's drama team. After 12 weeks on a national tour, Sarah moved to L.A. where she now resides, and continues to act in small productions including a recurring role as Sarah in "The Nerd Maxim" which she also helps produce. Sarah has continued to show her commitment and creativity in writing her own monologues and taking on production roles. She has shown her versatility not only through the ages of characters she can play, varying between 14 and 20 years old, but also in the type of roles she has chosen; grappling with heavy issues, as well as letting her bright personality shine. With her natural ability and hard work, there is no doubt that Sarah will be a thriving and sought after actress for many years to come.
