Biography

Kevin Robert Kiley Jr. was born in Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA. The son of Kevin Kiley Sr., a sports reporter and commentator and Lauren (née Riley), a former Miss Virginia. The oldest of two children, he has a younger brother named Kristopher. Kiley attended Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax, VA, where he played both football and basketball. He then went to Boston College, where he majored in Communications. While in college, he played for the Boston College Eagles football team, as a quarterback, before becoming a linebacker during the 2001 season. He has also played for the Canadian Football League Montreal Alouettes. Kiley was a professional wrestler for the WWE from 2007 until April 2016, where he was known mostly in the ring as Alex Riley. He was a former participant of WWE NXT during its second season and also a former Tag Team Champion, while in WWE's training territory of Florida Championship where he won the FCW Tag Team titles.
