Mathew Kister graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Film Studies. A lifelong passion for the horror genre led him to forming the micro-budget horror production company Dead Lantern Pictures with a group of high school friends. Writing and directing numerous schlocky horror shorts, including the Shivers Down Your Spine anthology series, he has also directed three feature length horror films: The Grand Horror, Outpost Doom, and The Eyes of Isabelle.
